Since Cole works a slightly odd schedule... we have to celebrate the little holidays in our own way. Monday, I had the hard task of helping Rionn with his homework. Which normally isn't hard. But I had to ask him why he loves his mother. And he had to write 3 sentences. So here's what he came up with.
[I love my mom because she hugs me. She helps me with my homework. She takes me to Sea World.]
All of his homework was Mother's Day related. So we did his homework and on Thursday, Cole took me to dinner. Much to Rionn's dismay. Mostly because he wanted to go to the Buffet. We ended up at Johny Reb's. A nice southern dinner that I didn't have to make. :)
Today, I got off of work an hour early. And to Rionn's surprise, I met him at the lineup. All the kids were carrying potted plants. He promptly said how he had a surprise for me for a Mother's Day gift. And that it was a plant that eats bugs. Something about a dragon. And how he got to color on the pot. <insert some giggling> All because Mother's are special. He just melts my heart sometimes.
