It Wasn't A Great Day
So Wednesday Rionn and I did our normal thing. But the beginning of the week had been horrible when it came to the weather. So Tuesday evening I put the trash out like the rest of the neighborhood. But Wednesday morning the wind was blowing and it blew over a trash can and some homeless animal got into the trash. Well with the animal and the wind, we had our trash all over the yard. So after dinner, we went out to pick it up. And we actually used the front door. Well, I told Rionn to shut the door so we wouldn't be heating the outdoors. And he did, but he also locked it. I've never done that before. Especially after I've become a mother. I was so mad. Not necessarily at Rionn but just at the situation. I mean all I had was my cell phone and we both had light jackets on. And it was cold. 50's and about 40 MPH winds. So we pulled weeds for a while. And I called some locksmiths. Did you know that a local, drive less than 10 miles locksmith will charge you $65 to unlock one doorknob. Yeah, and that was the cheapest quote I could find. And well, since it was Wednesday, all of our neighbors were at church. So Cole reminded me that we have our bathroom windows open all the time since we don't have fans in there. So Rionn and I climbed the fence in the backyard. And then I popped the screen off and fit my skinny kid through the skinny window. So even after Cole left work about an hour early, we got back inside just a few minutes before he got home. And we missed church. So we didn't have a great day. At least the rest of the week eneded up being great!
