It Felt Like A Train

So earlier this week on Tuesday, I was rear-ended on the way to work.  Luckily it was about 5 minutes after dropping Rionn off at school.  But it felt like I was hit by a train.  Where Rionn's school is happens to be on  a road with a higher speed limit.  But if you're going from our house to my work, first you get to Rionn's school, then the middle school, then after that, another elementary school.  So people know, you have to pay attention.  I happened to be stopped, waiting for a car to turn left to go to the 2nd elementary school.  And then I got hit.  It felt like I got hit by a train, but nope, it was a Jeep.  The guy who was driving got out and came to my door and said, "I didn't see you.  I looked up and there you were."  HUH?!?  He was lucky that he hit me and not another kid.  I mean, there are kids everywhere in the morning.  So yes, I was stopped and he was going 45 and didn't even slow down.  Anyways, I called Cole.  He always said that my car doesn't have a good record when it comes to rear-enders.  But luckily, you can't really tell I was in an accident.  However, we don't really know what all is wrong.  So far, the estimates we got they say we need a new bumper, bumper cover and probably a new tailgate.  It's iffy though since I have the hitch on my car which is in the bumper and can bend the frame.  So we'll see.  The insurance guy was supposed to come to our house yesterday and look at it, but he didn't show.  So I'll keep you all update.  Other than that, I'm sore and probably will be for a while.  And Rionn is sad about his transformer.
