It's Summer!

So school has been out since the end of May.  We had fair.  Which both the dogs and the big kid did great at.  Especially if you disregard the lack of respect of other parents.  I hate the way other parents act at sports/extra curricular activities.  They are horrible.  And the worst part... Most of the time, they are doing it in front of their kids.  Anyways, we finished the year off with a bang.  And we dove right into summer. Literally.  We had swim lessons start the Monday after school was out.  Both kids, which means that I was in the pool too.  Because of age, I had to sign up for mommy and me swim lessons.

And after lessons were over, we had Father's Day, play dates, lunch with friends, my gym classes, my mom's birthday, held a Thrive party, and had our 4-H end of year party.  We also took a long over due weekend away.  We went to Vegas and were gone less than 24 hours.  And the kids did great without us.  I've instituted an hour of screen time a day.  And it's going over well so far.

So I think instead of making a ton of posts to catch up on what we've been doing, I'll do a picture post.  It's just easier.  And I myself have an hour time limit.  LOL.

Agility at the fair.

Rally at the fair

Met with friends for lunch.  Found a splash pad.

Even the big kid joined in on the fun.

We visited Hubby at work.

We started swim lessons

We found a new way to be goofy.

We saw a real live Las Vegas show.

We met the cousins for a playdate.

This place had a splash pad too.

We all joined the library summer reading program.  Even Jet likes it.
We video chatted the grandparents.

And we ha a real rain storm.

Since we're in a drought, we played with water balloons instead of a pool or sprinkler.

Had a teachable moment about the use of sunscreen.

Rionn made Hubby a Father's Day canvas card.

So did Jet.

And there was an extra, so I figured I would do one too.

His favorite thing to do at my gym.

And some out of the sun relaxation time.  Not sure Scooby was relaxed.
