County Field Day

My big kid had his first 4-H competition.  And it wasn't with the dog.  We went to our county field day.  In which he entered in the black and white photography, color photography, and model built from a kit.

So I let him have my camera.  And he went to town taking pictures of things in our yard.



268 pictures later, he came out with a couple good ones.

He came home with a second place for his black and white.  3rd place for color.  And he placed first with a gold medal in division for the model.  

He was one happy camper.  His first 4-H competition and he came home with just more than a participation ribbon.  

Next month Scooby and the boy get to go to fair.  We'll see how that goes.

Our Weekend Adventures

This weekend should have been our calm, laid back weekend.  Except for the air show we went to.  And the walk for kids 5k that we did.  And the home show we went to.  We had fun.  And it was a blast watching Jet watch the jets.  LOL!  So here are some pictures in review.









And we did a little bit of yard work.  Jet is going to be my little garden buddy.  He loves to play in the dirt.
