Level 12

We've gotten into swing of this first grade year.  And Rionn is doing great so far.  At the end of kindy, he tested at reading level 10.  At his "let's see where everyone is at" assessment, he tested at level 12.  And let me be the first to tell you.  There are no more "secrets".  He can read now.  And we have to get a little faster in the spelling area.  LOL!

We Are Almost There

Rionn is what I would like to call a "slim" kiddo.  While he's my chest height(not that it's that tall, seeing how short I am) he just doesn't gain weight.  Just like Cole.  We went to the doctor's office for a school physical and he actually weighed 48.6  He's excited.  He doesn't want to sit in a car seat anymore.  But the law says 6 AND 60 lbs.  So he'll get there in another 2-3 years.  LOL!  But that's ok.  It's safer.  And he'll be all grown up before he knows it.

Welcome First Grade

So Rionn started first grade.  He was excited about it(Thankfully).  But I'm still not sure that Cole and I are excited about it yet.  :)
